Location

Ocean High is based at Marazion, the home of St Michael’s Mount and Mounts Bay, perfectly located to offer Stand Up Paddleboard, Kitesurf and Powerkite courses in arguably the best place in the UK for these sports! The west of Cornwall offers spectacular beaches, year-round warmer weather, amazing surf and the highest coastal sea temperatures in the UK. We are in the perfect place for starting out with Stand Up Paddleboarding and subject to sea conditions, lessons are possible almost every day through the summer months.

The Two Places To Find Us

We have a fixed base and shop at Lodey Sails in Long Rock but our beach base is set up each day on Marazion Beach at Follyfeilds car park, (the car park on the entrance to Marazion town) when we are instructing and renting equipment. Please contact us to make sure we are at the beach before coming.

We do offer guided tours around the coastline of St Michaels Mount but unfortunately we do not allow our rented equipment out around the back of the Mount unaccompanied by an instructor or out of eyesight from land due to safety reasons.

Our position, jutting out into the Atlantic, also means we are blessed with more days of kiteable wind than anywhere else in the UK with a season average of force 4-5: perfect for kite surf.
